Supply Wisdom is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive the growth of our mid-level and enterprise B2B footprint. The SDR will play a key role in building our sales pipeline to support growth. Through coordination with the sales team, the SDR will research, prospect, and create opportunities. Often the first opportunity to make a positive impression on potential customers, the SDR is critical for setting the stage for effective sales follow up.

Your Mission:

  • Engage with the senior leadership and C-suite executives from a variety of industries including, Technology, Finance, Banking, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Retail, Healthcare, and Life sciences
  • Achieve or surpass quarterly qualified meeting targets (measured by the number of outreaches, qualified opportunities, and new contacts/companies added to our verified database)
  • Apply a disciplined solution sales and insight sales methodology to gain deep understanding of prospects’ needs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of providers in the solution space, particularly Supply Wisdom competitors
  • Maintain the in-depth product knowledge necessary to effectively manage prospective client objections
  • Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls and emails
  • Use all available channels (email/social media/phone calls/etc.) to identify and contact key decision makers in Fortune 1000 level companies
  • Research prospects to identify key players and generate interest
  • Manage, track, and report all data/activities in CRM tools like HubSpot
  • Leverage outbound prospecting using tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and Account Executives to support successful outreach campaigns
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events that provide lead generation

 

You Have:

  • The ability to apply new knowledge and skills rapidly
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and planning skills to establish and lay the groundwork for sales growth and monetizing leads
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and account management systems
  • A strong background in solution and insight sales methodology (preferably in risk management solutions or SaaS solutions targeted to risk, procurement, vendor management, or technology leaders)

  • Communication skills – strong for both written and verbal

 

Your Education and Experience: 

  • BA/BS University degree preferred
  • 2+ years of B2B inside sales experience (preferred)
  • Experience in business, marketing, promotions, advertising, customer service or sales
  • Cold calling, sales training, and CRM experience a plus
  • Experience selling risk management or SaaS solutions targeted to risk, vendor management, or technology leaders preferred

 

Compensation:

Competitive salary plus commissions will be a function of the successful candidate’s level of experience. We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as parental and maternity leave. Stock options will be awarded upon board approval.
